if your counter displays the above image you have left out the style
that you want displayed and/or it does not exist?
1. In the string:
http://www.freecounters.co.uk/count-XXX.pl?count=countername&type=counterstyle
the type=counterstyle is an instruction
to our server to include the style you have chosen and/or want! this must
be an existing style we support and cannot be an empty instruction, BTW...
by changing this to a supported Type you can change the style of your
counter manually from your HTML of your page.
